Confident, Competent,and Chill

Even students who arent rushing can't help but notice the excitement and frenzy surrounding Rush Week. There are parties and dresses and luncheons galore. This can be an intense time and you'll have to guard your time and choices to keep from being overwhelmed.

We have a few sugestions to keep you feeling confident, competent, and chill.

Time for Spring Rush: Are Sororities for You?

Our DSD Brand Ambassador, Rebekah, has advice for students regarding sororities and rushing:

This semester I went back to college and I decided to rush. For me, this was entirely unexpected. I had never imagined myself in a sorority and so I didn't know what to expect, or if it was for me. Here are two things I would tell any girl who is rushing or thinking of rushing:

Top 10 Things A Graduating Senior Should Know!

If you're a senior, you're probably aching with suspense at the month and a half of squares on the calendar until graduation. As a graduating senior in college, I can relate. Take a deep breath, and check out the top ten things to know BEFORE you get to college.

10. The first time you get sick away from home is AWFUL. Stock up on OTCs before you go so that you don't have to try and get out of bed while you're ill.

9. It's ok to get homesick. If you're feeling it, everyone else is too, even if they're hiding it.

A Great Look for Spring!

Hey, everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic Easter weekend. I thought I'd share my Easter look with you as a cute outfit for Spring!

First, start with the hair. I am in love with the sock bun. It's so easy to do, and great for when you don't feel like shampooing your hair. Tip: Always secure with a few bobby pins. Pull out a few hairs on the sides for a messy, cute look. Check out a YouTube tutorial here.

Pick the Perfect Dress!

Hi, ladies! I hope you all had a fabulous Spring Break! It's that time of year! Prom and spring formals are here or right around the corner! Whether you're in high school or college, I have some tips to pick the perfect dress to take you from bedroom or dorm to a night on the town!

First, check the theme! Going with the theme is never a must, but if it's fun you might want to try! Of course, you can also check the colors so you don't clash with the decor.

Tick Tock! Time management!

One of the hardest things to do in college is to learn time management. After all, you have a boyfriend, a sorority, homework, a job, classes, social life, and family life to juggle! How do you do it??
