A Great Look for Spring!
by: arichardson
Hey, everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic Easter weekend. I thought I'd share my Easter look with you as a cute outfit for Spring!
First, start with the hair. I am in love with the sock bun. It's so easy to do, and great for when you don't feel like shampooing your hair. Tip: Always secure with a few bobby pins. Pull out a few hairs on the sides for a messy, cute look. Check out a YouTube tutorial here.
(Check out the sweet backdrop! It's my shower curtain from Dorm Suite Dorm! See below for details!)
Next, the makeup! I used Arbonne RE9 Extra Moisture Restorative Day Cream as a base, Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in #200, the Sephora Blinged Palette eyeshadows, Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti (015), and Sephora Full action Extreme effect mascara to finish.
Keep the eyes natural, use brown eyeliner and light mascara. Then, make the lips POP.
Finally, the finishing touches. I got this dress on sale from Belk. It's BCBG (it was SUPER on sale)! I finished off the outfit with nude flats (because I'm 5'9'' and I like to stay on the ground), vintage earrings, and a pearl necklace.
Please excuse the fact that I had no one to help me take these pictures. Haha! Oh, and check out the rest of the dorm suite dorm website for your own awesome shower curtain like mine (sorry, mine is in a discontinued fabric, but you can definitely find some great things!), as well as the rest of all your college bedding and dorm decor needs. Also, I assure you the color is BROWN. I can coordinate colors better than Halloween.
Show me your own Easter/Spring look!
