Dorm Suite Dorm founder Sheri Corey launched her premier line of designer college dorm bedding, linens, and accessories in Spring 2008. Sheri had designed and created custom bed linens, window treatments and slipcovers for her successful home interiors business, SewSheri Designs, for more than a decade when she had the "Aha!" moment that evolved into Dorm Suite Dorm.
A growing number of clients were commissioning Sheri to create custom college dorm bedding collections for their daughters. "They wanted rooms that were sophisticated, but happy. They wanted creative combinations in color. We started playing with concepts like ‘preppy with a bohemian twist', " says Sheri who quickly saw business potential in the demand for fine, fun and unique linens and accessories for the college dorm room. Bedding and matching accessories help make the most of the life-changing journey from ‘Home Sweet Home" to " Dorm Suite Dorm".
